Our Business:
We work on mechanical and electrical systems to make buildings healthy, comfortable and sustainable. We call this sustainable indoor environmental quality and and we have extensive engineering and management knowledge to make it happen.
Our clients include well-known property managers, retail and mixed use center developers and managers, tenants, architects and others. The unique challenges of upgrading and improving existing buildings are our specialty.
The company is led by Lawrence Schoen, a licensed engineer and internationally recognized expert in indoor air quality, sustainability and technical property management. Larry chaired Healthy and Sustainable Buildings 2007, the triennial Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) conference of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers), is a member of its Standards and Environmental Health Committees and is active in its IAQ Standard 62.1 and thermal comfort Standard 55.
Larry is active in the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) as Baltimore Section representative on the Maryland Department of the Environment Air Quality Control Advisory Council.
