In June 2008, the U.S. State of Pennsylvania is about to pass a smokefree law. We are proud to have supported this effort through our testimony to the legislature. Second-hand smoke is the leading cause of dealth due to indoor air in the developed world.

Larry chaired ASHRAE's triennial conference on indoor air quality Healthy and Sustainable Buildings, held in Baltimore, Maryland, October 2007. 

​

In 2007, we established a presence in Beijing, China due to the growing demand in Asia for healthy and comfortable indoor environments.

​

In 2005, Larry was made a fellow of ASHRAE, a 50,000 member organization dedicated to advancing the sciences of heating, refrigerating and air conditioning.

​

Schoen Engineering named the main MEP consultant for tenant coordination at Rockville Town Square, a large mixed use development that has transformed downtown Rockville, Maryland. 

​

Larry was reappointed to a second term on the Maryland Department of the Environment's Air Quality Control Advisory Council, where he serves as the representative of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
